We came across the Louis Armstrong Memorial park... we thought we were going to eventually give this place a visit... but it didn't happen :( so all we have is this picture of the entrance :(

Bar Tonique

As promised. This is Bar Tonique <3... recommended by John from Sazerac House. 

We decided to go to this bar to celebrate Mardi Gras! :D

It is a simple bar with amazing bartenders and drinks <3

Every drink was perfectly crafted and done so well <3

We ended up ordering 6 drinks! :D

All of the drinks they made were strong!

We spent so much time here (time and money :P) We didn't want to leave. ( we were here for at least 4 hours)

Korean spicy noodles and Kraft cheese

 

To whoever doesn't like American Processed Cheese, you are missing out... I had no idea that Kraft's Singles' cheddar cheese tasted so good with Korean hot spicy noodles! 🍜 😊 

Mardi Gras parade!

During lunch, Aerin overheard that there was a Mardi Gras parade, so after we freshened up at the hotel, we made our way to the parade (which was just a stone's throw from our hotel :D)

The theme was Joan of Arc. Apparently, Joan of Arc's story ties to the history of Orleans (in France)

 I haven't been to a parade in a very long time... it was extremely crowded but we had fun. :)

exhausted!

 We were exhausted after the art museum (NOMA)... we took the streetcar back (this was the only picture I have of the streetcar.... (the ride back the hotel was surprisingly long... it took over an hour)

We are finally here!! Since we both love art, we couldn't wait to visit NOMA (New Orleans Museum of Art)... and we were extremely impressed with the collection :D. We ended up spending 3-4 hours here (and we didn't have enough time) the collection was very elaborate.

me, after exploring the museum... I was exhausted <3... it felt like I was cramming for an exam. (I know it looks like I'm not wearing anything at the bottom... but I was! My skirt's fold got caught in one of my coat's buttons... 😅 )

I've finally had the chance to taste McRib! AND it is good <3

I love the design of the box :D 2 pickles :D These pickles have enhanced the flavour of the ribs :D

 These were drenched in McDonald's iconic BBQ sauce, stuffed with onions and had 2-3 pickles on top :)

Simple but so delish :D
