Goodbye, Queen Elizabeth II

She wasn't only my queen but the queen of my parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. She served 4 generations of my family and me. 

My family, being from Hong Kong, a British Colony, and I, born and raised in a Commonwealth country, The Queen has been of enormous influence and significance. Everything from seeing her image on our money to using our passports, she has been in virtually every aspect of my life.

She will be dearly missed and I can't imagine what my every day will be like without her.

It's my birthday!

 I am excited about what this year has to offer :). 

Last year was quite painful for me... I lost a few best friends (yes, plural... because best friends is a tire, not a status). I had to painfully let go of a few friends who had grown toxic. As Marie Kondo says, I should get rid of it if it doesn't spark joy. 

Here are a few other things I learned:

• treasure those who treasure me
• remember to count my blessings
• God is always good
• there is a reason why I feel pain, no matter how good it looks... when I feel it, I should stop and find what is causing that pain
• if they treat me badly... they mostly treat others as bad... compare notes with friends
• losing a friend is worse... far worse than losing a boyfriend
• hoard less

I can't say I completely agree as Haagan Daz's is more creamy but this is not bad :)

I got my hands on a really cool phone charger :D It can charge wirelessly and wired :)

watch this space for my thoughts on this charger tried and tested and I love it! it lasts for many charges and charges my phone (wirelessly) very quickly :D I might do another review on my other blog later :)

this was taken a month ago... I wonder if there will be a "super moon" for the Autumn festival...? they said that this will be the last super moon of the year... BUT... the lunar calendar says the biggest super moon always happens on/around Mid Autumn Festival (in a few days) 

Who will be correct? the modern astronomers or the lunar calendar?
