Today I Learned that Vitamin D prevents Dimentia


First, here are the benefits of Vitamin D

  • If you lack Vitamin D, there is a 42% chance of easily getting sick
  • Studies have shown that there is a lower chance of cancer among those with a significant amount of Vitamin D in their blood
  • Those with a significant amount of Vitamin D in their blood have less than a 2.5 chance of calcium loss
One of the best ways/natural ways to get Vitamin D is by soaking in the sun (but remember, apply sunscreen before you do!)

One of the food with the highest level of Vitamin D is Wood Ear, Black Fungus (黑木耳 in Chinese, 黒菌 in Japanese).
