When I first moved to Tokyo, I was constantly told what a strong Torontonian accent I had... and fast forward to now... I am starting to notice I am losing my accent :(
I wasn't particularly proud or embarrassed by it, but it was who I was... and now that I am starting to lose it... I actually want it back... :(... who knew these things could happen????
