a walk down nostalgia

 

It wasn't a bad day, so I decided to go out for a short walk around a neighbourhood I used to always go to when I was a kid (age 2-4)... 

This McDonald's was the first McDonald's they opened up in Scarborough :) I celebrated my 7th birthday here :)

the sun

 

We caught a glimpse (a very long glimpse) of the sun/sunset during one of our recent outings :)

It felt as if the clouds and the sun were dancing and the clouds were trying to hide the sun.

But the sun made it out alive, bright and still very visible :D go, Sun! :D

mums aka chrysanthemums

Please tell me I'm not the only one who sees this chrysanthemum as heart-shaped... 

 

it took me a VERY long time to realize that "mums" plants are short for "chrysanthemums" oops >___<

They are so pretty :D

Spindles

 

These flower budding berries plants caught my eye on my morning walk today. You can see how the berries are breaking out of the flowers :O... My iPhone educated me that these plants are called Spindles.

Minnie Mouse Suitcase

 

Minnie and Mickey mouse suitcases by Samsonite! ... What a deal! I was tempted to buy this/these but I have too many of these suitcases (size wise) and decided against it.

Autumn Flower Center Piece

 

These caught my eye... was so tempted to get them :) who knew sunflowers suited the Autumn/Fall theme so well? :)

Costco Mealkits

 

I love Costco meal kits! Everything is prepared properly. This is their Grilled Chicken in Penne with Alfredo sauce and Parmesan cheese. It was really good... almost restaurant quality :) it only took 8 minutes to make :)

I kind of gave up in the end.... hahahahaha

so... verdict?

After using the Apple Pencil, I did discover it is more useful than I thought... it took 14 days but I think I sort of got it... I'm still not sure whether I will make enough use of Goodnotes to subscribe to it... since I'm not a student and I don't need to jot down as many things as most people...

I was planning on subscribing to GoodNotes, but I realized I don't know how to write on an iPad... with an Apple Pencil.... so I started this notebook where I would practice (I can't believe it has been almost a year since I first started)

I thought it would be fun to share with you my writing... there are 15 pages, I'll separate them into 5 posts (3 pages each)... I don't want to overwhelm you with my silliness 😜

I don't know how these chestnuts are, I just bought them because of the cute chestnut mascots :D

 

Hazelnuts and Chocolate

 

These Italian Hazelnut and chocolates were quite good :) Hazelnuts and chocolates always go so well together <3

They are individually wrapped and look exactly like the confections/chocolates in the packaging :)

McDonald's Monopoly

McDonald's Monopoly always happens around Thanksgiving :D... I like what they did to their bags this year :D (I didn't realize I took a pic of the French side of the bag :O)

 I got the double Filet-O-Fish :) it was quite good but the fish and tartar sauce masked the cheese taste :(

It is still summer here <3... I just realized it is Friday the thirteenth today! :O... well... that's not going to affect my mood... it is such a beautiful day today <3

However, that being said, I am praying for those who must be vigilant due to the Jihad, Friday the 13 movement. Be careful 🙏
