Today I learned: Stewing potatoes
Today I learned that when you are stewing potatoes (with pork) add butter to the mix to prevent the potatoes from breaking into smaller pieces. The butter acts as a shield from the heat and other ingredients protecting the potatoes.

Today I Learned: Tender Chicken
Today I learned that one foolproof way of making chicken tender is by massaging thawed fresh chicken meat with grated (raw) onion. Then let sit (marinade) for 30 minutes before grilling/steaming/frying... etc.
You can also use sugar instead of onions but onions are the better choice for this method.
