It's been a while since I've cracked an egg with two yolks! Today, I was pleasantly surprised by this rare occurrence. what a great way to end the year! :D

 

Costco chickens sold out

 

This is the first time I have seen Costco's roasted chickens sold out! (mind you, this was close to closing time) I'm not accusing them of not having enough stock or anything... just thought it was interesting to share this rare, rare sight :)

nabe 鍋

 

I made soy milk nabe tonight <3... I threw every remaining leftover (from other meals) into the nabe soup base and ate <3... it was very hearty and warming <3

I used this soup nabe broth... I highly recommend it! You can also add milk, cheese, egg yolks and black pepper and combine with pasta/spaghetti after you have finished the nabe and make carbonara :)

I am glad I found this in my refrigerator today (just before it expires tomorrow!)

I love these chicken breasts, they are super easy to make (just pop them in the oven) and they turn out tender and flavourful :) (these chicken breasts are stuffed with feta cheese, spinach and asparagus! and drizzled with lots of herby sauce)

I'm guilty of enjoying frozen treats in winter (it is currently -11 outside 😅 )

Have you ever wondered why the Japanese opt for fried chicken on Christmas? It turns out, they associate KFC's Colonel with Santa Claus! 🎅

Would you consider this a poach or easy over egg? I think it is easy over... but one of my friends thinks it is poach... EITHER WAY! I'm proud of myself... I'm so glad I finally got this right!

I won't gatekeep this... all I did was put a lid on thge pan while I was frying it :)

My scatterbrain failed me today... I kept asking for the "sponge daddy" but no one knew what I meant... till I realized what I said... ooooppss!! I meant Scrub Daddy... SCRUB! SCRUB. DADDY.

I found this pack of 8 Scrub Daddy's at Costco and am excited to use these for cleaning! :D
