sorry Disney, this is perhaps the first Disney movie I will skip.

aside from your choice of actress for Mulan, who supports brutality and abuse of power and oppression from a government that lacks to give people their freedom of speech.

Mulan is the Chinese's greatest example of honouring parents (honouring = 孝). She went to war to honour her father, so he wouldn't have to go, she didn't go, as you have said, for her selfish feminist motives.
