I finally went to an Improv comedy show... I was impressed by how quick they had their comebacks!

Sushi night

One of the best things about living in Japan (and I will miss this when I leave) is the cheap, fresh sushi available

Today I learned... Baskin Robbins

In Japan, Baskin Robbins' is known as 31 (for 31 flavours)... they aren't aware that it is called Baskin Robbins' at all.

I can never make ice cream from an ice cream machine in a nice swirly shape... it always ends up odd.

Garlic bread!

It is hard to find garlic bread in Japan and glad I came across this. It isn't big, and by Canadian standards slightly on the pricey side... (¥138 for this)

still, I'm glad I found it :P it was nice and garlicky :D

dogs :P

this dog was staring at me up until I took this photo... it wanted to go near me but his owner kept pulling him away.

I'm not sure whether it is a scent I have on me lately (I've been using Nivea's in shower lotion) that is attracting dogs... this has been happening to me for the past week :O

Creamy Chicken broth has been surfacing everywhere in Tokyo :P... I don't want this trend to end! :P

Best Hummus

HUMMUS!! It's hard to find hummus, let alone, good hummus in Japan... and I found some!!! I indulged in every one of them... and they were all good!! :P :P :P

Soy Sauce container water bottles

these are one of the most adorable water bottles I've ever seen!!! :D... (for those who don't know, they are shaped like the soy sauce packets they give you when you buy take-out sushi)

I wouldn't recommend aroma oils... always go for essential oils... aroma oils are only 2% of essential oils and don't last long :(.. this is why this was only ¥100 compared to essential oils which are ¥800+

Today I learned... Japanese New Years Greeting cards

Today I learned that the weird numbers at the bottom of Japanese New Years Greeting Cards are codes for a "New Year" lottery. There's a website where you can check to see whether you won the lottery or not. :O
