cars
While glancing over an article in a magazine, a friend and I encountered a picture of someone sitting in a car (you can only see the partial front-side of the car)
me: wow... 一睇就知、依駕車唔係BMW 就係Mercedes 啦
friend: 你一睇就知道... 證明你都係躁慣依啲貴車啦
me: .... O.O||

Translation:
me: wow... from the looks of that car, I say that car is either a BMW or a Mercedes
friend: wow... you can tell just by looking at that odd view? from hearing what you say, it just shows you drive or ride in a lot of those expensive cars~

Only in America...? XD
found this online, thought I would share it with you...
(lol, it took me a while to get #4, and I don't get #11 >.<)
1. Only in America......can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.
2. Only in America......are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.
3. Only in America......do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
4. Only in America......do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
5. Only in America......do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.
6. Only in America......do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
7. Only in America......do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.
8. Only in America......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.
9. Only in America......do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'
. 10. Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM's with Braille lettering.
11.Only in America.....Will you go to a restraunt in seaworld and ask for bandaids and get mayonnaise

now... what is Freedom of Speech?
I find it absolutely ridiculous …. and find a huge disappointment at the policies that the school systems in Canada is implementing.
What were they thinking…?
1. It is ok to freely talk about being LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual) It is even ok to admit you are one and be "proud" (OK, this part can be acceptable, after all, we all are here to learn about accepting one another)
2. It is alright to talk about Islamic beliefs, Buddhism beliefs… etc. In fact, the teachers encourage students to do so. (again, this is ok, since we are trying to share with everyone what we think, believe, etc)
3. Why can’t those wish to celebrate Christian holidays also? Why must Christmas be refered to as “Happy Holidays” and it is wrong to say Merry Christmas? (Please go and look up the meaning of this holiday, it was created for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ... not made for your family gatherings and present giving holiday, please be respectful. If you intend to "steal" someone's holiday and celebration, at least be nice about it...)
I am reminded of a news story I heard about a year ago:
I am reminded of a news story I heard about a year ago:
A Student is suspended for wearing a "Life is wasted without Jesus." themed t-shirt (isn't this kid, like others just trying to express his beliefs?)
two questions:
Why is everyone so against Christianity? Why do Christians not have "equal" treatment?
AND
What does freedom of speech mean? Why are there so many contradictions when it comes to this right?

When will employers ever realize...?
If you don't invest in your employees, your employees won't invest in you or their work...

Work and stress
The more I work, the more confused I am, I noticed I am getting stressed, my dreams are about my job... This is ridiculous! Why do I care for something so much? Who cares if they make the sale? I'm just an employee...
My panda/ raccoon eyes are extremely severe, I'm pretty sure, if I went to the zoo to visit those 2 pandas, they will welcome me thinking I'm their kind DX.
The weekend gave me enough rest, but the moment I stepped into the office my dark circles have instantly returned...
What should I do?! :(

Lessons learned this week
- Pride and confidence are two different things
- being polite and nice doesn't mean letting people step on you
- infatuation is not love
- obsession and being loyal are entirely different things
(will be elaborated later)
