I had a conversation with my mom a few days ago and when I referred to SCBC (Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church) as MY CHURCH, she had to correct me that it was no longer my church... she said MY CHURCH is TBC (Tokyo Baptist Church) and told me it is confusing since SCBC is no longer my church... I don't belong.
As much as I wish I could argue, I didn't have a better comeback. It is true... I moved on... sometimes I have to remind myself to not dwell on the past... the hurt endured shouldn't affect me... I should be in a healing phase.
....I will get better.
