ORD to YYZ part one

 

What a nice surprise! We were seated on an Airbus and there was inflight entertainment! yeah!!! :D What a great way to end the trip :)

The flight time was only an hour :)

I ended up taking more pictures than I thought I would... so I will be splitting this post into two.

Chicago O'Hare International Airport ORD part two

I found a cute shop that sold interesting plushies :)

I wanted to see if there was anything they had that I would want that Toronto didn't have, but I didn't :(

Since everyone was already ready to board, Air Canada decided to let us board, and we were able to leave 30 minutes earlier!

I knew this airport was big... I just didn't realize it was THAT big!... Our plane had to line up and wait to land. We waited for about 30 minutes. After we landed (as in touched the cement) another plane started landing!... By the time we got to the terminal, at least 10 planes had landed.

I really liked this beautiful hall (I regret not being able to take a picture of the Christmas trees behind me, I wanted to, but there were too many people pushing behind me).

Since there are A LOT of pictures, I will be splitting this into two posts. 

I ended up only having less than 2.5 hours to explore this airport.

Everyone wanted McD's! I'm proud of Chicago for allowing McDonald's to open in their airport! :)

The waiting areas were decent, but most of the terminals did not have any electricity, so I wasn't able to charge my phone. The wifi was also not really good. THankfully I had my data plan :)

This was the inflight snack. I wanted pretzels, but there weren't any left :( but this was quite good, so I'm kinda glad there weren't pretzels :)

I had fun with a game where you had to pilot an airplane :) 

I asked for apple juice and they gave me this huge can of apple juice :) (I was expecting a cup, this can was more than enough)

Halfway there!

I met a really nice lady who was going home to Chicago. She works for Viking Cruises. Is it just me or are people from Chicago very friendly? Every time I fly to Chicago, the passenger next to me always initiates a conversation :)

After a few minutes of conversation, I discovered that her cruise ship landed/parked at the Outlets the day I was there! We laughed and thought we might have bumped into each other that day! :) What a coincidence! :)

You can tell we are so nowhere near New Orleans! Look at all that snow!! :O

welcome to Chicago and back to the reality of winter! brrrr
