Tiffany Christmas Tree @ Yorkdale

I didn't have time to post this so it is late... but Christmas trees are always beautiful to look at... not only during Christmas time. I am not sure whether this is still up or not... but I took this picture after Christmas.

Jetlagged
2018 humbled me and I started to appreciate Tiffany's designs... (not to say all of their products look good... ) I especially pendents from their Elsa Peretti line.

do you see me?

Can you see me? I was really lucky the crowd was gone when I took this picture :)

loving this shiny Tiffany ornament ball ... do you see me?

Salty Milk Ice Cream with Olive oil?

yes... you didn't read the title wrong... I went to a fancy dining place in Ginza and they served salty milk ice cream with Olive oil...

here goes nothing...

I much preferred salty milk ice cream by itself... the salt made it unique enough... the olive oil was strange...

where it all began

hotel near Iidabashi

I finally took the initiative to go to the hotel I first stayed at (when I first came to Japan as a tourist, at 11 years old).

It is located near Iidabashi station. Honestly, I don't recognize most of the area... in fact, I have vague memories of it. Yet, it is where it all began. It was where I was first exposed to Tokyo. My room was on the 18th floor... and I remember being mesmerized by it.

I was at this hotel for 2-3 days and then we moved into another hotel... (and for some reason, I have more memories of that one).

It is funny how I was a tourist there,... I remember pretending to blend in and not being able to understand what the people around me were saying; There were so many weird characters... and I remember envying those who lived in this interesting city, ... and now I am a local... it is strange where life takes you...

Pizza All you Can eat!!

I binged on pizza!! want to know what this is all about? head on over to my reviews blog for more
continue below to read about my adventures!

My friend suggested we go to this place to eat... it is a pizza all you can eat... for most people in Tokyo, we know that Shakey's is known for its cheap but good quality all you can eat pizza!

I never thought I would have liked "dessert" pizza which is essentially sweet... but one bite changed my mind... they seemed to use a different crust... so the sweetness was a good match with the "pizza crust"

If you still want to know more... head on over to my reviews blog!

Kimono Day!

all the kimonos I can choose! (Wargo)

I finally have the courage (and the time) to do this! I finally decided to do one of the most touristy things, wearing a kimono! There were so many choices at this place.

obi!! (Wargo)
I realize I suck at matching obi... so I asked the shop staff to help me choose one.

I really like it! But walking in it was a sure challenge! STILL!
