The National WWII Museum was highly advertised at the airport. We ended up staying there for 3 hours (and not finishing it) We were lucky to get through all the main parts (2 buildings). But there were 6 buildings in total. The National WWII Museum was very well organized and answered many of the questions about the war I had over the years.
long lines |
We were fortunate to arrive in the afternoon on a rainy day so there were no lines.
You first "get on a train" to take you to the warzone. The train "ride" gives you a very good overview of what has just happened. You need to take a dog tag card with you, and collect stories (you are assigned to follow a member of the military on the train).
To all those who have fought for peace, Thank you.
