Today I learned that it is better to eat "hard" rice than "soft" rice if you want to lose weight.
reasons:
- Hard rice is harder for the body to breakdown and requires more muscles to chew
- Hard rice (as a result of not being cooked as thorough) leaves a hard resistant starch which is good at reducing appetite and boost digestion
