people with long nails... how do you do it? how do you...

• type
• clean your ears
• put in contacts
• scratch yourself (to relieve an itch)
• open bottles
• use chopsticks
• write (using a pen/pencil)
• use any touch screen (iPad, iPhone, etc)
• use your trackpad (on your Macbook pro)
• etc....

JUST HOW?????? 

I tried growing out my nails but gave up after this got "this long"
