Today I learned: Croissants

these croissants are made from real butter

 

Today I Learned that different shapes of croissants mean they use other ingredients to make them.

If the croissant is in a crescent shape (like a crescent moon): they used margarine (plant-based, man-made butter) to make the croissant.

If the croissant is straight: they used real butter to make the croissant.

These are labelled correctly... the ones on the left are "straight" so they are butter, while the ones on the right are crescent shaped... and do not contain butter, but margarine.
