Today I learned... Goodbye gifts

This was very bittersweet for me. The reason my coworker gave this to me was that he is leaving the office.

While this is very sweet and tasty, I'm sad I had received it.

Today I learned that in Japan, it is customary, that when you leave a workplace you are required to give gifts to all your coworkers as a thank you and good bye gift.
