Snowstorm in Feb

Before I continue about my New Orleans trip, I have to intercede and post about a recent snowstorm we had in Toronto...

We had to pamper ourselves at some point in this trip,  Aerin got some nail polish from Tokyo and we both applied paper face masks :D

We binged watch Friends, Shark Tank and The Big Bang Theory

I love my hotel bed so SOO SOOOOO much <3

KFC

 I haven't had KFC in year!!!! The last time I had KFC was probably back in 2017 in Tokyo :O

Is it just me or did they change their recipe a bit? I don't recall KFC ever being THIS spicy :O

(I took pictures of the food... BUT they all turned out bad and blurry.)

souvenir shopping

CVS or Walgreen's

 After the terrible casino experience, we walked along Canal Street (it was extremely windy and rainy, so I didn't get to take any pictures).

We ended up spending a lot of time at CVS and Walgreens! :)

I was a bit disappointed that most of the prices (numbers) looked exactly like the Canadian prices except, these were all USD!... 

I kept track of what things I needed to buy the next time I visit :)

Since it was so rainy, we called it a day and headed back to our hotel.

Casino

After our lunch/dinner, we walked around and found a casino. This was one of the worst casinos I have been to :(... the staff were unfriendly, and the water I used to fill my water bottle reeked of mold 🤮 

We checked out the prices (food and souvenirs) and they were more expensive than outside. I thought casinos usually try to lure in customers and gamblers with cheaper stuff??

(we were also carded at this place! yeah! haha)

Gampaghetti

 

I am currently obsessed with Korean instant noodles!... This is so good <3 who knew beef bone soup worked so well with milk <3

These noodles are chewier than regular Korean instant noodles <3

Day 4 breakfast and lunch

I don't remember whether we ate breakfast... or not... but after we woke up from our nap, I was craving a burger... so we decided to go to Shake Shack! :D

Their portions are really big! I walked in famished... but I couldn't finish this meal! :(

We decided to take it slow on Day 4...
